Selection of grapes from Salento, classic steeping for 14/16 days and temperature-controlled fermentation. Ageing in stainless steel silos for 3 months, transfer to American oak casks for 1 month, final ageing in bottle.
Vivid ruby red with violet hues.
Hints of red fruits, toasted notes.
Presence of tannins but well-balanced; full-bodied, structured and rounded.
Excellent with local recipes, such as those based on grilled, roast and stewed meat, pastas with meat sauce and aged charcuterie.
